The product is fast-acting and shows visible results within hours. Slugs and snails can rob performance from any crop. They’re among the most destructive pests in agriculture. In fact, slugs alone can wipe out a slow-growing crop in just a few days, according to The Ohio State University. Both pests thrive in damp and wet conditions, common during spring. They’re most active at night and on cloudy and foggy days. They hide when it’s sunny and warm, so often the only evidence of their presence is missing or damaged plants and slimy, silver trails.
Keeping trunk areas as grass- and weed-free as possible and not letting limbs and leaves touch the ground help keep slugs and snails away from citrus trees as shown on this snail bait trial site. A sound baiting strategy will help manage infestations should they occur.

January 17, 2022 — Morgan Silva has joined Neudorff USA as Coastal California Sales Manager. She is responsible for the territory from Santa Cruz to San Diego.
A graduate of Fresno State University with a degree in agriculture, Silva also gained valuable experience by working as an intern for Neudorff, Certis USA and Nutrien Ag Solutions.
